The evolution of one of Central Europe"s oldest universities is laid out in essays on the Alma Mater Rudolphina from the points of view of history of architecture and of art, history of science and of the university. Julia Rüdiger war von 2018 bis 2020 Forscherin im und stellvertretende Projektleiterin des ERC-Projekts Islamic Architecture and Orientalizing Style in Habsburg Bosnia 1878-1918 an der Universität Wien. Seit März 2017 ist sie Assistenzprofessorin am Institut für Geschichte und Theorie der Architektur an der Katholischen Privat-Universität Linz und forscht zu Strategien der politischen Repräsentation in Architektur und Denkmal im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert.
