Tania Plahay has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and teaching for many of them. Drawing on techniques from a range of yoga traditions, yoga therapy and her own research she began adapting yoga for the elderly and in particular those living with dementia. Working with a multidisciplinary team she developed and piloted a therapeutic yoga programme for people with dementia with a UK-based care provider.
