In the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the footwear industry of China was affected by a series of unfavorable factors such as the trade war between China and the US, the market downturn, and covid-19. Having a sight on the traditional industries across the country, the footwear industry has begun exploration in technical upgrading and high-quality development. For example, Wenzhou, Zhejiang achieved remarkable results. This research aims to explore the performance of China's footwear industry when confronting a new round of social and economic changes and the impacts caused by RCEP on the development of China's footwear industry and to investigate how to gradually integrate cross-border e-commerce with traditional footwear industry to achieve diversified development with the conjunction of international, domestic, online and offline patterns.Through this project, our team has close contact with the current situation of the Wenling footwear industry, including policy conditions, supplier scale, current business environment, etc. The actual combination of the development of footwear industry enterprises.
