The Seoul Agenda: Goals for the Development of Arts Education was unanimously endorsed by all UNESCO Member States in 2011. It is the only existent policy paper of global relevance on arts education. Achieng' Akuno, EmilyEmily Achieng' Akuno is Associate Professor of music and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Kenya in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a member of INRAE's steering committee, the International Music Council (IMC) Board and the International Society for Music Education, ISME.

Bamford, AnneProfessor Anne Bamford is Director of the Engine Room at the University of the Arts London and has an international reputation for her research in arts education, emerging literacies and visual communication. Through her research as a World Scholar for UNESCO, she has pursued issues of innovation, social impact and equity and diversity. She has conducted major national impact and evaluation studies for the governments of Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and Australia.

Barbosa, Ana MaeAna Mae Barbosa, is a full professor at Universidade de São Paulo and Anhembi Morumbi, Emeritus Professor UFPE. Taught at Yale University and The Ohio State University. Visiting scholar at the University of Central England, the University of Texas and Columbia University. Received the National Prize of Scientific Merit (MCT2004) and the National of Cultural Merit (2015) Brazil; The Edwin Ziegfield Award,USA; The Herbert Read International Award; the Achievement Award for Contribution and Leadership in Art Education in the United States; Jabuti for the best book (2016), Itaú Cultural 30 years (2017) among others. She wrote 22 books on Art and Art Education.
