The book is not designed for the individuals who think they might have reached perfection but rather it was designed for those hurting, those that need encouragement, and those on the verge of giving up. It is written for those who are laboring and heavy-laden, with very little reward to show for their sweat. Life is a tough school, in that it presents us with the test first, and then the learning afterward. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. This righteousness that the Psalmist is spoken of here, according to the author, only belongs to the followers of Christ. In Christ, God has made us His Righteousness. We are the righteousness of God, and He, the Lord God Almighty is bond by His promises. Faithful is He that promised. Our God is a Promise Keeper. Heaven and Earth may pass away but His word will never pass unfulfilled. If you are looking for a perfect person's story, please drop the book. It is not for you.
