This particular story was inspired by the author Pamela's unique situation; however the goal of this book is to bring comfort and security to all reading it; whether an ant got stepped on while on a walk to the park, or a loved one passed away - children have so many questions and they want to feel safe under the words of their caregivers. A Hug from Above helps to bridge the communication on grief, loss, and how we can honor and celebrate our loved ones.

Pamela Quinn has been writing since she could write. Pamela lives in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. She is a wife and a mother, and will always be a daughter. Nothing brings her more joy and warm and fuzzies than family and togetherness. She loves to hug, have heart-to-hearts, karaoke, dance to 80s music, talk about Saint Mary's College, and go camping. Pamela loves to write poetry, craft nostalgic stories, and bring people together. She believes there is a scent to every memory. She believes that you should dance proof your outfits and have long phone calls with your girlfriends. She believes, most of all, to say, 'I love you,' far too much.
