In this book, five year old Obutor loses her Wrappa, a gift she was given at birth. In her search for Wrappa, she finds so much more within its history and in its purpose. Obu is inspired to share all the amazing things she learns about herself and her heritage by leaving magical stories like this one, for future generations.

Autor

Marcia, as a Nigerian American, grew up around people who were filled with so much color and life. One of her grandmothers was a seamstress, another a farmer. Her grandfathers were village chiefs and her uncle, a wrestler. Her mom was a beauty magician and her dad was a Prince named Prince! In so many ways, Marcia's large and beautiful community was her first introduction to the art of stories. She has always had a big imagination and is passionate about extending the traditions of passing down history through storytelling.
