In his courses, he emphasizes the basics of writing, which many students seem to have bypassed in their journey through high school. His classes are exceedingly interesting while he imparts the knowledge being sought by the student. It seems that in our educational system today, there are so many marginal teachers. This is evidenced by the many reports and articles published in various periodicals. Being able to learn under a gifted man such as Prof. Pellettiri is deeply satisfying. In today's world of "mass communications," i.e., TV satellites, computers, satellites, pocket calculators, etc., people, namely today's youth, are being shortchanged and are experiencing a great loss in their ability to read, write, and talk to one another. It is this type of instructor (Prof. Pellettiri) and the instructions given by him that can revitalize these abilities and fill the voids that have been created by the electronic age.
