Autor

Lynette is a wellness practitioner specialising in menopause. Her passion for food and health was born out of her struggle to cure herself of the symptoms that plagued her as she transitioned into perimenopause. Having battled many health issues that she later learnt affected many women, Lynette started her journey into nutrition and eating for health by embarking on a course of study at the Natural Chef course at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, where she learnt about nutrition and therapeutic menu planning for specific health concerns. Having found what she learnt in this course successful in managing symptoms, she began sharing her knowledge with her clients and peers who were keen to try therapeutic menus and recipes to reduce their menopausal symptoms. Due to the success of these natural solutions, Lynette wanted to share her knowledge to assist other women and men through this transition, resulting in this book.Lynette also has a background in youth justice, which spans many years. She has used her knowledge of nutrition to assist parents in cooking healthy meals for their teenagers to manage hormonal imbalances and has received many testimonials from parents who have noticed the changes in their children's health and moods. Those of us who have raised teenagers can testify to the challenges they experienced as puberty turned their loving, caring children into moody teens. Lynette also mentors teenagers to aid them in making positive choices as they approach adulthood and acts as a mediator for families when the relationships between parents and teens break down
