Chunyan Chen, Director of the Climate and Energy Dept. of CEPREI Certification Body and Senior Engineer, is In Charge of the low carbon, energy saving, and green development third-party business. She is Head of Guangdong Low Carbon and Energy Saving Administration and Engineering Technology Research Center and Head of the “Industrial Energy Saving and Green Development Evaluation Center” of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As Member Expert of the WG 46 China Work Group, she participated in the drafting of the Chinese national standard, Conformity assessment—General principles and requirements for validation and verification bodies, an equivalence of the ISO 17029 standard. Meanwhile, she is also In Charge of the third-party technical services for industrial energy saving and green manufacturing and has played a leading role in several ministerial and provincial level supporting research projects related to low carbon. Prof. Maosheng Duan, Director of China Carbon Market Research Center of Tsinghua University, has been working on international carbon market since 2000. He has been Member of the Chinese climate delegation since 2001, was Member of the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism Executive Board between 2010 and 2020, and served as Board Chair in 2012. As one of the major advisers to the Chinese government, he has been intensively involved in the design and operation of China’s domestic carbon market, including the voluntary emission reduction system and the pilot and national emissions trading systems. Zhiyuan Guo, Deputy Director of the Green and Low-Carbon Division at CEPREI CERTIFICATION BODY, serves as Member of the expert group for carbon emission trading pilot provinces/cities. With over a decade of technical research and project experience in climate change response and green development, he specializes in third-party certification, evaluation, and training in the areas of low-carbon, energy conservation, and green development. He has led numerous provincial and ministerial-level research projects related to low-carbon and green development. Binbin Zhang is Senior Engineer, CCAA Registered Greenhouse Gas Verifier, Certified ESG Analyst. His expertise spans scientific research and policy development in low-carbon transition, energy conservation, and green development. He has contributed to over 10 key policy formulations and research projects, including Industrial Carbon Peaking Strategies, Green Manufacturing Initiatives, and Development Plans for Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industries. Qian Wang, Mid-Level Engineer, Greenhouse Gas Verifier, and Energy Management System Auditor, has been working at CEPREI CERTIFICATION BODY since 2016. Over the years, she has been engaged in certification, evaluation, training, and technical services in the fields of green, low-carbon, and energy conservation and has completed greenhouse gas emission verifications for key enterprises in multiple provinces and cities. Hongli Wei is Senior Engineer of the Green and Low Carbon Business Unit of CEPREI Certification Body, Greenhouse Gas Inspector, EnMS Auditor, with theoretical and practical experience in energy conservation and green manufacturing system construction.
