Natasha Jocic was born in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia, where she lives and works today. In addition to her acclaimed A Stone in the Shoe, a 2011 finalist for the prestigious NIN award as the best newly published novel written in Serbian language, she also is author of two other books, Unbearable and Islands. Jocic also has written screenplays and has directed "Virtual World of Life," "Doc Holliday" (Approved By The American Embassy), "Human Touch," and "Survival of the Blue Planet" for several Serbian professional theater companies.
