The study examined the effect of jigsaw iv cooperative teaching method on the academic achievement of students in Business Studies in junior secondary schools in Ogun State, Nigeria. The study was conducted using quasi-experimental research design. Result showed that there was significant difference in the academic achievement of students taught business studies using jigsaw iv cooperative method and those taught with conventional method and there was no significant difference in the extent to which gender difference affect the achievement of students taught business studies using jigsaw iv cooperative method in junior secondary schools in Ogun State among other finding. Based on the findings, recommendations were made that Jigsaw IV cooperative method should be incorporated into the teaching of Business studies at the junior secondary school level since it stimulate students to effectively learn and retain the concepts presented to them.
