Hence, there is a need for through investigation whether microfinance has really resulted in the empowerment of women in terms of economic, social and political dimensions. So the researcher would like to examine the role of micro finance in the development of women. The findings of the study may be useful to the policymakers to formulate best practices in terms of regulation and development of microfinance in our country.
