Lauren is a twenty-something professional battling demons from her past that she just can't seem to slay. Even though she's on the fast track to success, haunting memories pop up to disturb her peace. Though the circumstances of her present life are very favorable, she struggles to understand why God allowed her to suffer through an unstable, derelict childhood. She meets Mark, a handsome young missionary and they share sparks! But afraid of rejection and believing she isn't good enough for him, she keeps her distance, not realizing that God has other plans for them both. When a family crisis interrupts her vacation and then she runs into Mark, Lauren is awed by the coincidence but still rejects his offer of help. Yet when they're thrown together in an earthquake and Lauren is hurt, she's left with no choice but to accept Mark's offer. Over the course of the next twenty-four hours, Lauren and Mark get to know each other and form a bond in a race against time to rescue her young niece. Lauren later learns that Mark has his own troubled history but they both hesitate to move forward with their relationship causing family members to decide to create another "coincidence" that has them traveling together to Jamaica where they find themselves on yet another adventure, but this one involves a child trafficking ring that not only puts Lauren's life at risk, but also the lives of three young girls. Join Lauren as she learns that there are no real "coincidences" and that we're all sinners in need of God' s saving grace.
