Overcome by the urge to give the kitty a home, I placed her in my kitchen. Each morning for over ten years I gazed at her melancholy face wondering about her past and how she had survived all those years. Several years ago, I moved the kitty to my studio and began using her to store some of my paintbrushes. She then became an object of interest to my pet tabby named Haley who sat next to her for countless hours - hence, the story begins.
