You do not have to climb 203 or 257 steps to be inspired by these lighthouses. The photos are not the only inspiring part, the facts are also inspiring, not too many and some of the most popular facts. This will appeal to people who love obscure, seemingly common knowledge facts. A strange fact about lighthouses is that they are measured in height and steps. Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse is 176 feet and 203 steps versus St. Augustine at 165 ft and 219 steps is a great example. There is no standard step size.
