In 2015 Rhonda intuitively switched from a critical care RN to one serving the mentally ill. Every day, every moment, she wonders, "Is there a better way to help people dealing with depression and anxiety? Is my art bigger than healing me?"
These pages are her effort to transcend hope.
"I Woke Up to FK Up" is about moving away from the consequences most of us suffer. At one point or another, we face trials. Struggles such as illness, addiction, betrayal, and bullying. Divorce, violence, neglect, judgement, or loss to name a few. These words and these images are about a transformation, a metamorphosis towards a better life. All graphics are her originals and words personally penned by Rhonda.
