Author's biographyRachel's dream was to be a writer. LIfe got in the way and with severe self esteem issues, she never thought it could be done. With age and wisdom, there comes the understanding that what other people say or think about you isn't what matters. It is what you do with your life that is what matters the most. After living in California most of her life, Rachel recently moved with her husband and 4 grown sons to the eastern part of Oregon, the high desert. With this change, other changes started to happen. She started to embark on healing her heart and soul through helping others with self esteem and becoming joyful in their unique abilities. This is why she wrote her first children's book, Penelope's Quest: A Tale of Self-worth Beyond Comparisons. We are all unique and should embrace our uniqueness and not compare ourselves to others.Developing self esteem is an ongoing challenge. She continues to embrace her unique gifts and seeks to fulfill the life long dream of becoming an author and illustrator.
