The efficacy of the flowable composites as a bonding agent needs invivo and clinical assessment through a survival analysis. Filtek Z-350 and Esthet-X flow exhibited problems with handling properties and flowability. Drifting of brackets was noted and pressure was needed for positioning the bracket with Filtek Z-350 and Esthet-X flow. The flow property and viscosity should be balanced to obtain optimal consistency to achieve optimal bond strength and improve handling property for Filtek Z-350 and Esthet-X flow.
