Autor

Philip C. Sossou was very fascinated with nature at an early age. He holds a master's degree in African literature from the University of Lomé. In grad school, he led research about African means of transmitting cultural values from one generation to another. In his early academic life, Philip was influenced by famous African authors like Chinua Achebe, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, and Ayi Kwei Armah. Later in life, he embraced well-known American writers: Helen Keller, Poul Anderson, and Henry James. From them he learned the art of creating images with words. To help nourish his students' desire to venture into literature, he wrote a very dynamic critique on Daisy Miller written by Henry James. As a schoolteacher, Philip helped many of his students build their skills in writing essays and dissertations.
