Sydney was the valedictorian of her class for her four years at Revere High School, MA, and the Poet Laureate for three years. Alongside her role as Poet Laureate, she took on the student-leader position of her school's Poetry Out Loud Club. She also interned as a writer for her local newspaper, the Revere Journal. Outside of writing, she was a part of the Nicole Zervas Dance Academy community for fifteen years as both a dancer and student-assistant. Sydney is attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying English starting in the Fall 2021 semester.
