Transferring automatically from one natural language to another natural language is called Machine Translation. machine translation according to source and target languages has different approaches. Rule-Based MT, which is a traditional approach deals with language grammars and structures, while statistical MT, which applied statistical models on human translations are two examples of machine translation approaches. The present study applied a hybrid approach ,i.e. RBMT and SPE approaches, to design and implement an English to Persian machine translation.

Saeedeh Najafi M.A. in Translation Studies in IAUCTB university of Iran, is a designer of the present study on English-Persian MT. Dr. Kourosh Akef is the assistant professor of the study. Seyyed Morteza Razavi is the computer programmer for implementing the idea. Now findings and ideas are passing procedures of Iran Intellectual property office.
