And so, the following paragraphs in this book make up the summary of the collection of Rita's Love Letters which cry out to me. Rita also would often tell me, 'I just can't stop thinking of you.' Now again, it saddens me to think and realize that I did not respond positively to Rita's motivating suggestions of us getting married. And so, after I had helped her to get a High School Diploma, she traveled back to Italy with a U. S. Government's job.
