WHO reported many countries are rabies-free.e.g. Japan, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Ice-land, Purtugal, New Zealand, Australia etc. in India, Andman-Nicobar and Lakshdweep Island are free of disease due to successful eradication programmed because of strict quarantine regulations.
