My husband and I were married at a young age. We worked hard to raise our family, and now that they are grown and have their own families, we treasure our time with them very much. I am currently retired; I retired after working for thirty-four years for the same employer in January 2015. While working and raising a family, I completed over two years of college. As a couple, my husband and I enjoy camping and hiking together. I also enjoy doing volunteer work. For me, writing has always been my passion. I love writing poetry but now am delving into other genres of writing.
