But when we pray to God until we are touched by Him, who is love, and He pours out the richness of His great love upon our heart and soul, we know we have found the greatest and best gift we can ever receive in this life and forever. As you read Lori's poems, you will share her joy and rejoice with her over the many times she has been blessed by an outpouring of God's love and the victory that God's overcoming love has brought in her tests and trials. It is her desire that you, too, will turn to God and that you will find victory in Him, who is love, which brings victory in every trial and circumstance that you may encounter in your own life. Sister Lori prayed, "God save me, I don't want to go to hell!", at 8 years old, at an altar in a small country church. Their pastor, Rev. Benny Parmenter, baptized her and her family. Thirty-eight years later, in a hard trial, God showed her John 6:35: "I am the Bread of Life: He that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." She was born again and Jesus became her life that morning. She wanted to 'go and tell others' what Jesus can do for them. God gave her "Spirit Life Ministries" from John 6:63 for the name of her ministries of 40 years for Jesus. It is her heart's desire that you will draw closer to Jesus Christ through her poems, that testify of His Salvation, Goodness and Love. And if you are lost, you will turn to Jesus and be saved.
