The following chapters focus on bone cysts and benign tumors of osseous origin; osteosarcoma in humans and animals such as dogs, cats, and mice; and tumors of cartilaginous origin such as solitary enchondroma, enchondromatosis, chondroblastoma, and chondromyxoid fibroma. Tumors arising from fibrous, fatty, neurological, or undifferentiated connective tissue are also considered, along with those arising from bone marrow or lymphoid tissue. This book concludes by offering suggestions for future research.
