Joanna Mclaurin was born in Jackson Mississippi; however, her parents moved their family to Atlanta Georgia soon after. Growing up she wanted to be a teacher until something magical happened at the tender age of thirteen. She was introduced to writing short books one day during History class. Today Joanna is happily married, a mother to a handsome son. She is now focusing on her novels full time.
