In order to ensure they stay hidden, the Sicarii has all rogue members killed, and the person currently responsible for those killings is Kai, leader of the fourth assassin squad, who is ordered to hunt down his lifelong friend Alphonse for betraying the Sicarii. Black Star, a freelance assassin and thief, is on the hunt for answers after his father, the famous scientist and war hero Alexander Stromberg was murdered by the Sicarii along with his mother Sylvia nine years prior.
