The process of melting results from the interaction of the elements of matter and space in solid state and, in its turn, is the process of the formation of new moving clusters, dominant only in liquid state of the elements of matter - and flickering splits, dominant in liquid state of the elements of space only. A definition and equation of the elementary act of melting will put forward. All the parameters of the elements of matter and space in liquid metals were calculated - their dimensions, the energy of oscillations, parameters of interaction, temperature of melting, etc.
