More people are single who want to be married today than at any time percentage-wise, in history More people, now more than ever, are choosing not to be married because of the failure of previous attempts. There are more single parents today than at any time since creation. Divorce rates in the church and outside the church are holding steady at 51 to 53%. Marriages are lasting shorter than ever. People are yearning for companionship and friendship, and longing for connection. Every new app that offers new modes of connection becomes a blockbuster overnight.
