Hannelore U. Ramanyake grew up in the picturesque Black Forest of south Germany, an area known for its arts, crafts, castles and fairytales. She dreamed of becoming a fashion designer but decided to be a display artist instead. At age twenty, she followed her husband-to-be to his native country of Sri Lanka and loved it. Hannelore lived a total of thirty years in different Asian countries before immigrating to Oklahoma, USA. Her art is inspired by the colors of Asia. This is Hannelore's first published children's book and is the true tale of Tigger's adventure.
