Thus, the study shows that MGNREGS has resulted in changing the lives of the Scheduled Castes. . Special incentives should be provided to those workers from Scheduled Castes in order to encourage more number of Scheduled Castes people to participate in the Scheme. Finally, special incentives should be sanctioned to those rural Scheduled Caste households, who complete 100 days of work under the scheme, in order to encourage Scheduled Castes to actively participate in the Scheme.
