Nilsson is Professor Emerita of Architecture at Luleå University of Technology, is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and is Swedish representative in the Nordic Planning Research Network PLANNORD. Jennie Sjöholm is Senior Lecturer in Conservation at University of Gothenburg and Senior Lecturer in History at Luleå University of Technology.
