Autorenporträt
Katie was born in the northern community of Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, soon after packing her bags to travel the world with her parents and younger brother. Experiencing Christmas with the kangaroos, jumping into shark-infested waters and surviving to tell the tale is more than any eight-year-old could hope for. She learned at a young age that adapting to change and being open-minded to new beginnings would always guide her down the right path. Now in her thirties, she found her way back home to raise her own family. In her free time she focuses on growing her online business, playing dress-up with her "mini", and studying for nursing exams. She wrote this book knowing it would find its way into little hands that don't fear new beginnings, but embrace the change or even be part of it.
