The author was one among those millions, a small lump of the huddled masses of the American poet's metaphor, born and raised thousands of miles away in a Country stymied by years of dictatorship. For over half a century he has been chronicling in his mind America's sins along with the virtues which once far surpassed her faults, and noticing the changes in her socio-political behavior which have so saddened him and most cradle Americans.
