Autor

Douglas M. Fraleigh is professor of communication at California State University Fresno. A three-time chair of the WSCA Freedom of Expression and Legal Communication Interest Group, he holds a doctorate in law from UC Berkeley, and has taught freedom of expression for two decades. His publications and papers include diverse freedom of expression topics including surveillance and national security, Internet regulation, hate speech, defamation, free speech in occupied nations, academic freedom, and political communication. Joseph S. Tuman is professor of legal and political communications at San Francisco State University. With a doctorate in law from Boalt Hall, Tuman has also taught at the University of California, St. Mary′s College, the New School for Social Research, and Paris II, the top law school in France. He has written extensively about freedom of expression and was the principal drafter of the NCA′s amicus brief before the Supreme Court in ACLU v. Reno.
