Especially since his parents can't afford any more generous donations to his law school. On academic probation and at risk of losing his inheritance if he doesn't get his degree, Stephen just wants to spend the holiday season hiding in his room and secretly reading poetry. His plans are foiled, however, when he's tasked with visiting his grandmother at the assisted living home-something no one wants to do, especially since "The Incident," last Christmas.
