He was given automatic employment as Senior Reporter and between January and December 1992, he was the Ondo State Correspondent of Daily Sketch before being transferred to Ogun State as the State Correspondent between December 1992 and October 1994. He joined the Weekly Frontline newspaper as Assistant Editor in November 1994 and rose to the position of Acting Editor and later Editor till September 1997.
