To quote Dr. Gibson at the end of the introduction, "..I know you've suspected much of what you are about to read, and I'm here to tell you that you were right all along-"
This book helps to resolve the inner conflict that this type of family relationship can cause. By learning about your options, you can accept the situation and move on.
I am usually sceptical of self-help books but heard Dr. Gibson on a podcast and decided to buy this book. It was worth it.
