He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters so far and perhaps owns the most diverse talents. According to art historian Helen Gardner, the scope and depth of his interests were a precedent, "e;his mind and personality seem to as a superhuman, the man himself is mysterious and remote"e;. Marco Rosci states that though there are many speculations about Leonardo, his vision of the world essentially is logical, not mysterious, and the empirical methods he employed were unusual in his time.
