This book is made up of a myriad of poems that collectively provide one woman's perspective on key themes that can ultimately define any one person's life. The poems illustrate a lexical type of emotion as it may be associated with individual personal experiences. The author uses choice vocabulary as an aesthetic tool to express the significance of highly personal or lifetime events that have moved her and shaped her own life journey from her youth to well into her adulthood. The poems share common running themes of mankind and accentuates the paradigms of a lifetime from love to war and from life to death. It is poetry that is meant to inspire readers to appreciate everyday experiences as opportunities to understand experiences that can bring people together.

Autor

Eileen Jones is a teacher and creative writer. She lives in Santa Clara, California and has lived in California for most of her life. She traveled internationally as a child which she feels has helped her to develop a universal and open-minded philosophy towards how she chooses to live her own life. Eileen earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in English Literature and her Masters in Special Education at San Jose State University. She is very passionate about both her career as a high school special education teacher and about her love of writing. This is her first collection of published poetry. She hopes that more will follow in addition to other writing projects that inspire her.
