The book was heartbreaking and beautiful. I'm glad I gave it a chance since I read his other book and didn't really like the way it was written.
I wish it was longer to be honest so we could stay with the characters longer, but I guess the shortness of it is the reason why it's so gut-wrenching in the end.

This coming-of-age novel really took a heartwrenching turn that I did not expect (and was not prepared for-). But apart from that it is beautifully written, with well-portrayed characters one can relate to and though the storyline seems familiar, trust me, it is way more than that..
