Recent initiatives for the financing support of renewable energy projects at the EU level (EU Renewables Financing Mechanism, Hydrogen Bank, and 'Auctions as a Service') are also appraised and broader recommendations for the future consolidation and development of EU renewable energy support law are proposed.
