Your new career adventure starts here! Hey, my fellow nurses and future entrepreneurs! My name is Charis. I am the owner of two successful businesses: Elan Beauty Bar and Liquid Luxe IV Infusions. I'm an RN who transitioned from bedside nursing after twelve years of working in LTC, ER, Pre-Op, and PACU. I'm sure you're wondering what influenced my decision to do so. Well, I'm glad you asked! After working through the COVID pandemic as an ER travel nurse, like most nurses I know, I experienced a huge wave of emotional burnout. I unexpectedly realized that bedside nursing was no longer my passion. I was finished working for someone else's profit. No one is born with all the knowledge you need to become successful. Each person has room to grow. Embrace your ignorance. Identify where your knowledge is lacking and formulate a plan to gain the education that you need. As you grow, you will move forward in life. People who are not growing will not move forward with you. To achieve your goals, you must move forward no matter what. People who share your vision will walk with you up the hill of adversity toward new heights and greater successes. Financial freedom for everyone doesn't mean everyone needs to be a millionaire. Financial freedom means you have the freedom to live the life you want to live - a healthier and happier lifestyle rich with experience and purpose. It also means the freedom to be who you really are. No need to trade in your reality to play a role in someone else's story. I decided to embark on my own journey to do what I love, which is helping people feel and look better while still utilizing my nursing degree that I worked so hard for!
