Nancy B.Piccirilli, born in New Jersey, USA, has traveled extensively through the states and the world. Amidst the traveling two universities bent her brain in subjects such as Art, History, World cultures, Linguistics, Psychology and Teaching. Intermingled with these studies were smatterings of the hard sciences such as Physics, Biology and Medicine. These travels and studies have been stewing together for the last 10 years while living in Norway and working as a medical research translator specializing in psychiatry. This rather dry sounding work is wonderfully punctuated by the Piccirilli Bjerkeset families, which are filled with creatures of all ages walking on both two legs and four, and more traveling, some fishing, a few glasses of fermented liquids, a few other hobbies and some daydreaming.
