He does not overlook sin, compromise with it, or make exceptions. His holy nature demands justice. The Sinfulness of Man While God is holy, we as human beings are sinful by nature and by choice. From the very beginning, mankind has rebelled against God. Sin is not just "bad behavior"-it's falling short of God's perfect standard. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23 "There is none righteous, no, not one." - Romans 3:10 Because God is just, sin must be punished. The Bible makes it clear: "For the wages of sin is death..." - Romans 6:23 This death is more than physical-it is eternal punishment, enacted by God upon the unforgiven, in hell. God doesn't cast people into hell out of cruelty, but out of His holy justice, because He must punish sin. God cast souls into hell according to Luke 12: 5 Fear Him(God), which after he hath killed hath power to CAST into HELL!
