Lue Koroluck (pen name "Grammy Lue") was inspired to write a story about a real turtle that her grandson Danny found in a creek when he was a young lad. He noticed it only one toe on it's right front foot. He brought the turtle home to try and help it. He dug out a small pond for the turtle. After about three years, the turtle seemed not to respond it its care. It was then taken to a small lake nearby and released. It's speedy escape into the water was a joy to behold. The story is in a poem form. It is a fictional story about a real turtle. It is a "READ ME"; "COLOR ME" book with the story on one side and a corresponding picture on the other side. Read the story then color it your way. Have FUN.
