The longer Brett is there he sees the devastation and exploitation of the tribes of the Amazon and is determined to bring this slaughter to the world's attention whilst working with the tribes to disrupt the desecration of their homeland. Throughout the story, Brett and Gina's paths cross but circumstances keep them apart even though their love for each other is as strong as the day they met.
