Der Abschlussband der Trilogie ist deutlich witziger als die Vorgänger. Alte und neue Nebencharaktere treten mehr in den Hintergrund, während die Beziehung zwischen Damen und Laurent im Fokus stehen. Leider handeln die Charaktere vermehrt für sie untypisch, damit der Plot sich wie geplant entfalten konnte. Teilweise wurden auch Events aus den vorherigen Büchern angepasst und neu interpretiert, so dass auch diese nur noch wenig Sinn machten. Dennoch konnte ich das Buch nicht aus der Hand legen und musste einfach wissen, wie es mit den beiden weitergeht. Somit ist es bei mir in der Kategorie Guilty Pleasure ein erfolgreiches Buch, dass ich auch anderen weiterempfehlen würde.

No reader ever stood a chance. I think it’s physically impossible to finish this book and not immediately search the internet for fanart and posts from fellow supporters. This trilogy is everything you ever wished for in romantasy. The two protagonists are a force to be reckoned with – you won’t be ready for neither them nor the turbulent story that binds them. I laughed, I cried, I gasped at the plot twists and interrupted my reading multiple times to look up at the imaginary camera and grin from ear to ear. I loved this and I will aggressively recommend it to all my friends.
